What is Gotcha BAK?

Do you live in or have a second house in area of Moonta, Port Hughes, Wallaroo or Kadina SA? Going to be away on bin day or need the bins taken out between guests at your holiday home? Perhaps you’re just looking for a local to keep an eye on your place and look after your spare key? Whatever the case, we’ve got your back!

Two Bins

2 Bin Service

$20 — Red and yellow bins put out and brought back in (two visits to property)

Three Bins

3 Bin Service

$35 — Red, yellow and green bins put out and brought back in (four visits to property)

Gold Key

Key Holding Service

We’ll open your property at short notice, saving travel time and costs for holiday home owners.

$7/fortnight or $5 if combined with a bin service. Additional charges apply for call outs – Minimum $45. Weekend call outs minimum $75.

With current fuel costs our call out fee is likely to be less than a round trip from Adelaide, not to mention saving you a whole day!

Other Services

  • Security check property for peace of mind.
  • Provide photos of house exterior/interior by request.
  • Collect+return (post) of important items left at holiday home.
  • Problem solve emergency situations and liaise with emergency services in case of fire, storm, break in etc.
  • Recommend quality and reputable local tradesmen.

Why should you consider this service?

At a community forum on the 7th of March 2023, Police reported that 85% of houses broken into on the Copper Coast in the preceding 12 months were either vacant or a holiday home.

Leaving your council bins at the front of the property for an extended period is an obvious sign that the house is vacant and therefore a soft target for criminals.

The Copper Coast Council state on their website that all council bins should be brought in from the curb within 24 hours of rubbish/recycling collection.
